Despite the bad weather the week before the AGM, there was a good attendance at this event. Mike chaired the meeting as Christine, our President, could not be present because of a bad cold. There was a minute silence to honour two Polyramblers who passed away recently: Margaret Lanham, one of our Vice-Presidents, and Pat House. The minutes of the previous AGM were approved and there was an update on matters arising. The Committee had Continue reading Saturday 3rd March: Annual General Meeting

24th February. Hampstead Heath
On a sunny, chilly winter morning 4 of us went on a circular walk around Hampstead Heath. The weather was great for this time of the year. Blue sky with a few wisps of clouds, and gentle wind blowing. The air was cold, but comfortable to walk. We passed part of the village, then Hampstead Ponds, Parliament Hill, Highgate Ponds before we stopped for lunch at Kenwood House, and visited Continue reading 24th February. Hampstead Heath
Saturday 24th February: Haslemere circular

It was a slushy and slidy walk over Tower Bridge, along the South Bank to the Millenium Bridge and through Middle Temple and Lincoln’s Inn Fields to Long Acre. Then 37 Polyramblers met at the Freemasons Arms for the annual Club Christmas lunch. Continue reading Sunday 10th, Club Christmas lunch, Freemasons Arms, Covent Garden
