SATURDAY 23rd NOVEMBER: PANGBOURNE (Circular) 8.5 miles.

Along part of the Thames Path National Trail with views down to the Thames, then up through a nature reserve, woods and fields. Lunch at The Sun Inn, Hill Bottom or bring a picnic.

Buy OPDR to Pangbourne. Dep. Paddington (Didcot Parkway train) 9.38 arr. Pangbourne 10.32 OR Elizabeth line to Reading, then dep. Reading 10.24 arr. Pangbourne 10.32.

The Elizabeth Line trains to Reading depart from Paddington at 08.47 (08.17 from Abbey Wood) – arriving Reading 9.40  OR  depart Paddington at 09.17 (08.47 from Abbey Wood) arriving Reading 10.12. Then catch the 10.24 train to Didcot Parkway. The later Elizabeth Line train may result in a very tight change if delayed.

Freedom Pass holders buy OPDR Reading to Pangbourne. Oyster 60+ holders buy OPDR West Drayton to Pangbourne.
