Saturday 17 September: Windsor Circular Walk

Only three polyramblers boarded the Windsor train so I was hoping a few members would join en route or come on First Great Western. At Windsor four more members joined us,  so not a bad turn out as there was a longer walk scheduled for Sunday. Saturday 10 September: Harlow Town to Broxbourne (Herts) – Linear

Thursday 8 September: Evening Walk – Sherlock Holmes Trail

Saturday 3rd September, Knockholt to Orpington

Our route took us in a sweep to the south and west, across attractive chalk downland and the occasional golf course. We stopped to talk to a vociferous couple of goats. Before long we came to a steep hill, which surprised us because we were expecting a leisurely riverside walk. Nevertheless we made our way up the hill with true Strollers grit and determination.
