Saturday 10 September: Harlow Town to Broxbourne (Herts) – Linear

The weather forecast was for heavy rain all day but this did not stop 6 Polyramblers and 3 of John’s friends from another group to come on this walk in the Stort Valley.  Children were having fun in canoes when we reached the Stort Nagivation Canal which we started to follow alongside meadows.   At Parndon Mill Lock, we started playing catch-up with a lady on a narrow boat Continue reading Saturday 10 September: Harlow Town to Broxbourne (Herts) – Linear

Thursday 8 September: Evening Walk – Sherlock Holmes Trail

Saturday 20 August: The Hadhams (Herts)

After a few dry weeks, the weather forecast was for rain.  That’s probably why only 5 elite Polyramblers turned up for the walk.  However, we only had 3 showers during the day, one while we were on the train, the second while we were having lunch and the third in the afternoon lasted only 2 minutes.  The train was delayed due to problems with a door so we missed the bus in St Margarets which is only every 2 hours.  Therefore, we decided to do the walk in reverse from St Continue reading Saturday 20 August: The Hadhams (Herts)
