The first year’s subscription for new members is £12 which includes a once-only joining fee of £2. Thereafter, the Club’s annual subscription is £10 renewable on 1st January.
To enrol please fill out the form below and make a transfer of £12 to the Club’s bank account number 29935940 and sort code 05-02-00 or if you prefer, send a cheque made payable to ‘The Polytechnic Rambling Club’ and post it to The Honorary Treasurer, Daniel Duffy, 28 Dunraven Road, London W12 7QZ.
If you are enrolling after 30th September, payment will cover both the current and the next membership year.
If you are in any doubt about your ability to complete a walk, particularly if you have a disability or an underlying medical condition, you must seek advice from the walk leader in advance of a walk. You should also let the leader or another walker know on the day if you have any medical condition which may affect you while on the walk or be relevant in an emergency.
The Club has public liability insurance. However this is not personal accident insurance for members. You are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance, especially if taking part in trips outside
the UK and may also wish to consider taking out your own personal accident insurance.
By paying my subscription I confirm that I understand that I am responsible for my own safety on walks and will seek advice before joining any walk or trip if I am uncertain of my ability to take part safely.
